MUSE - Progress:
- Muse goes open source! From now on everybody is invited to contribute to the project.
- Version 0.8.1 is online; simulation speed has been improved, including 3rd party libraries is possible and it contains a new version of MuseView.
- Martin Müller and Marco Wolf finished their phd studies successfully.
Community:
- GUM Supplement
1 is available online. - International vocabulary of metrology (VIM) is available online.
- The paper MUSE: Computational aspects of a GUM supplement 1 implementation has been published in Metrologia Volume 45.
The Measurement Uncertainty Research Group develops a software package called MUSE for the evaluation of measurement uncertainty in metrology using a Monte Carlo method according to GUM Supplement 1.
The program is completely written in C/C++ and can be downloaded from source forge. We currently support MS Windows and Linux. For visualization we provide a Java program called MuseView that is included in the download package. The package also includes project files for the examples of GUM supplement 1. The documentation and a lot of additional information can be found in MuseWiki.
